restaurant DOLCH is a small French restaurant in Marutamachi, just south of the Kyoto Imperial Palace (Gosho). Our chef served as the official residence chef at the Embassy of Japan in Romania until 2006. We serve homestyle French cooking in a relaxed, neo-bistro spirit — good food, without formality.

Lunch 11:30–15:00 (L.O. 14:00)
Course A ¥2,750 ／ Course B ¥3,750 ／ Course C (chef’s choice, reservation required) ¥5,850. All courses come with homemade bread, dessert and coffee or tea.
Dinner 18:00–21:30 (L.O. 19:30) Reservations recommended
Course A ¥4,850 ／ Course B (with pasta) ¥5,850 ／ Course C (fish & meat) ¥6,850 ／ Chef’s special ¥8,850 (book 3 days ahead). One drink order per guest, please.

- Lunch & takeout: cash or QR payment only. Credit cards are accepted at dinner.
- Closed Mondays.
- Children are welcome at lunch. For dinner, we kindly ask that children be old enough to enjoy a full course on their own.
- Counter 4 seats + table 18 seats. All seats non-smoking.
- Private hire is available for parties of 10 or more — contact us.
